Privacy Policy
How Orbit Veterinary Oncology handles personal data submitted through this website. Last updated 2026-08-26.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is Orbit Veterinary Oncology. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@orbitonco.com.
Orbit operates veterinary cancer centers in several countries, including Spain. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, this policy is intended to meet it. Where a United States state privacy law applies to you, the rights described below are available to you under that law.
What we collect
This website collects personal data in two ways, and only these two.
Data you send us through the contact form
First name, last name, specialty or role, email address, phone number, subject and the content of your message, together with your confirmation that you agree to this policy. Only the first name, last name, email address, subject and message are required; the rest are optional.
Data collected by measurement tools
If you consent to it, technical and usage data such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This data is handled through Google Tag Manager and the tags configured within it. Nothing you type into the form is ever sent to those tools.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry. Legal basis: performance of a request you made, or our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Without these details we cannot reply.
- To measure and improve the website, and to measure advertising. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the form. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing spam and misuse.
Who we share it with
Messages sent through the contact form are transmitted and delivered by Web3Forms, an external form-delivery provider acting as our processor. The message is passed to our email inbox. This involves an international transfer of your data, including from the European Economic Area to the United States, carried out under the appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Measurement data is processed by Google through Google Tag Manager and the tags configured in it, and may likewise be transferred internationally. This only happens if you have consented.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense given to those terms by United States state privacy laws.
How long we keep it
Enquiries received through the form are kept for up to 24 months from the last contact with you, so that we can pick up an ongoing conversation, and are then deleted. Where a longer period is required by law, we keep the data only for as long as that requirement lasts. Measurement data is retained according to the retention settings of the tools configured in Google Tag Manager.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. You may also object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, ask for your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place while it was given.
To exercise any of these, email hello@orbitonco.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. If you are in the European Economic Area and you believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Cookies and consent
This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies before you allow it to. Consent is managed through Google Consent Mode v2: on your first visit, storage for analytics, advertising, personalisation and functionality is set to denied, and it is only granted for the categories you accept in the consent banner. Cookies strictly necessary for security are always active.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent banner, and you can delete cookies already stored through your browser settings.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the page rather than only in the version history.
